42% Of New CBD Users Stop Taking Traditional Medicines: Study

More and more people are learning about the uses of cannabidiol (CBD), the non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in marijuana. A new study shows just how much it is affecting the lives of its users.

As Debra Borchardt reports in Forbes:

Forty-two percent of the CBD users said they had stopped using traditional medications like Tylenol pain relievers or prescription drugs like Vicodin and had switched to using cannabis instead.

The survey, conducted by Brightfield Group and HelloMD, spoke with 2400 of HelloMD members to get their data.

Other notable findings include:
– 80% of CBD users found the products “very or extremely effective.”
– Less than 3% found the product to be “ineffectual or only slightly effective”
– 55% of CBD users were women.
