Georgetown selectmen to vote on new cannabis grow agreement Monday

Will Greenbridge Health Inc. be allowed to proceed with the permitting process in hopes of opening a cannabis grow facility at 16 Carleton Drive?

The Board of Selectmen will meet on Monday, Sept. 25, to decide just that.

Selectmen met with Greenbridge Health CEO Frederick McDonald this past Monday to go over some details before next weeks vote on a host agreement and letter of non-opposition. Greenbridge Health is looking to open a medical marijuana grow facility on a 51,000-square-foot lot at 16 Carleton Drive in Georgetown.

One complication in the debate has related to the already existing cannabis grow and dispensary in town, Healthy Pharms.

Unlike Healthy Pharms, there would be no dispensary at the Greenbridge facility. But part of the host agreement with Healthy Pharms dictates that if the town allows another medical cannabis facility to
