Cannabis has become a go-to solution for many men and women who suffer from pain, discomfort, stress, anxiety, and the like. Despite the potential benefits that cannabis has to offer, there are a number of considerations that users may want to account for before adding the substance or continuing to add it to their lifestyle. One such consideration is whether it can have an impact upon one’s health.
One recent study looked at the impact between cannabis use and acute ischemic strokes.
The study concluded that,
“Consistent with some studies, this study shows that recent cannabis use is not an independent risk factor for ischemic stroke. Further studies utilizing urine toxicology tests with a larger sample size should be done.”
Essentially, there may not be a link for the development of ischemic strokes, more research is needed.
