Cannabis workers in Cathedral City will save time, money with new ID cards


It will soon get easier for Cathedral City cannabis workers to get the proper identification needed to work in the city. 

On Wednesday evening, the City Council unanimously approved a cannabis employee ID card program that will save workers time and money. 

The program, which will likely go into effect in November, will require cannabis workers to pay $105 every two years and submit to electronic fingerprinting in order to be cleared to work at any cannabis business in the city.
